🔥 Hi there!
Welcome to my corner of the web. I'm Lannan, an entrepreneur and hardware enthusiast with a deep love for pushing the boundaries of efficient computing!
I hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor’s from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), specializing in computer architecture and ASIC design.
(Want the full technical deep dive? Check out my resume!)
From Silicon to Startups: My Journey So Far
-
🚀 Internships → Return Offer @ Analog Devices – Proved my chops in industry but chose to dive deeper into research at ETH Zurich, where I worked on cutting-edge ASIC projects.
-
⏸️ A Detour, But Not a Stop – I was already dabbling in entrepreneurship, but a career pause as an ASIC engineer in Germany fast-tracked the journey. I worked on several projects (and learned plenty from failures, too), co-launched a mini-app with 1,800+ users (and growing!), and now channeling my energy into a new startup idea in maximizing efficiency for chip design.
-
💡 What Drives Me? – Solving complex problems in ASIC design, pushing chip design efficiency to new levels, and constantly evolving as both an engineer and a founder. I’m all about innovation, collaboration, and building tech that matters.
-
👩💻 Empowering Women in Tech – I founded a women’s group that fosters mentorship, growth, and solidarity. We host free events to help women build confidence, skills, and community—championing feminism, inclusivity, and empowerment every step of the way.
-
🌏 A Global Perspective – I spent 7 years in the US and 3 years in Switzerland, leaving home alone at 16. That experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to navigate life independently.
Beyond the Lab & Code
When I’m not tinkering with hardware, you’ll find me:
🎮 Gaming—solving puzzles in It Takes Two or wandering Hogwarts’ halls (current obsession: Hogwarts Legacy!),
📖 Devouring sci-fi (my favorite book: "the Three-Body Problem" by Liu Cixin),
✍️ Writing to untangle thoughts and spark ideas,
🎵 Getting lost in music, or
🌿 Recharging in nature (often with my drone, capturing the world from above)
Thanks for stopping by—let’s collaborate, geek out, or build something amazing together!
